AP Spanish Language and Culture

Course Introduction:

This course is designed as a rigorous, intensive course conducted exclusively in Spanish for students who wish to improve their proficiency in Spanish to the ACTFL K-12 intermediate to pre-advanced level through thematic instruction on the topics of global challenges, science and technology, contemporary life, personal and public identity, families and communities, and beauty and aesthetics. Each of these topics will provide depth and context to the communicative activities throughout the course designed to improve student proficiency in the three modes: interpersonal, interpretive and presentational.
