Italian II

Course description:The Italian II curriculum continues to build upon the culture, grammar and vocabulary from Italian I. Students practice language skills acquired in Italian I with more advanced grammatical structures and with a higher degree of accuracy in both spoken and written work. Class participation is a major component of the course, where students discuss their preferences concerning leisure activities and current events in written form or orally. Interaction with peers in the target language is emphasized. Meaningful communication of the target language is achieved through the study of the Italian grammar and the accuracy of expression. In-depth concentration of the culture and regions of Italy is continued from Italian I, through the integration of a variety of technology tools.
