Spanish For Healthcare

This course will offer students the opportunity to acquire specific Spanish language skills used in a variety of medical or health settings. Students will be presented with key vocabulary in a comprehensible-input format, focusing on easily mastered core expressions. Dialogues or role plays, supported by grammar instruction and illustrations, reinforce the specific real-world language that makes up the course. This course will also have a cultural component that is directly tied to working in a medical or health field. Students will be required to work on the following skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing on a consistent basis.
