Italian Grade 8
Course Description: This class focuses on the continuation of the development of communicative competence in Italian. Students will develop a proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing of the language. Assessments will be on-going and include tests, quizzes, projects, writing and performance tasks that allow students to demonstrate what they know and can do in Italian. Also, students will gain knowledge and understanding of the Italian culture and will reinforce their knowledge of other disciplines such as geography, history, science and mathematics. Successful completion of grade 8 will fulfill the level 1 requirement.
