Hello to all of our extended families,
It’s important to me you know that both you and your children are considered just that, our extended family. CPS is working hard to build positive attendance habits across our community. We all know that attendance is directly related to achievement and also our students’ social/emotional well-being. We are trying to once again build routines, increase engagement, give access to our many resources and to provide help, if needed, for learning. One of the most important things we can do to make sure all of this can happen is to have our students attend school consistently.
If you are experiencing any difficulty getting your child to school on a regular basis, no matter the reason, please reach out to me and we can work to try to solve the problem together. By attending school and engaging in learning, big dreams and aspirations can become realities.
Sincerely here for you,
Vin Turchetta CPS Dean of Students and Attendance 401 440-5216
