Fifth grade is an exciting year at Woodridge . Our entire year is spent actively learning, using a variety of methods.

Students work independently , with partners , in cooperative groups, as well as whole class to enrich their learning experience.

During the school year, students will make presentations, read a variety of stories from various genres, and develop essays.  We will also work on problem solving and play math games to sharpen skills.

Our main goal is for students to become independent, life long learners. 

Another goal is to strengthen work habits, study and organizational skills.
We believe that the learning process should be fun!
