* We teach to the National Visual Art Standards.
* Our curriculum will be completely updated this school year.

* We are going on our second annual Art Field Trip to the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, Ma on Saturday, November 14th. Information will soon be going home.

* The Scholastic Arts competition, grades 7-12 is in January, 2010. Salve Regina is hosting it this year.
* Arts Fest Exhibit, grades K-12 will be at the Cranston Public Library in May, 2010.

* Current projects first quarter include value drawings, Van Gogh Sunflower collages, mixed-media shoe drawings, Georgia O'Keefe watercolor flower paintings, and Romare Bearden inspired collages.

* Upcoming projects include mixed-media Kimono clothing designs, shoe sculptures, music-inspired collages, Days of the Dead skeletons, Stuart Davis paintings, totem head scupltures and clay.
