EXTRA HELP

Extra help is available any day after school for Science, Social Studies, and English as long as the student makes arrangements with the teacher in advance.

Math help will be available every Thursday from 2:20-3:00. Students must fill out an entrance ticket and give it to Mrs. Lyons during homeroom that morning or sooner.

Please arrange for a ride home if you are staying after school.

SNACK TIME

Students may bring in their own snack to have in class while working.

As you may be aware, there are new regulations regarding foods containing nuts in school buildings. We also have students on our team with severe nut allergies. We are requesting that you do not send snacks to school with your child that contain nuts or traces of nuts. Please check the ingredient list on snacks to insure the safety of our students. It is really important and we thank you in advance for your cooperation. We certainly want school to be a safe, happy place for all children.

TEAM DETENTION

If your child receives detention a note will be sent home informing you of the time, date, and reason. We ask for your support in carrying out our policies. Detention is not meant to be punitive, but rather a corrective measure. If your child receives detention, please ask him or her why this happened and discuss what she or he might do differently to prevent this from happening again. Team detention will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:20-3:00. It is the students' responsibility to make arrangements for a ride home.
