MEETING
MINUTES
October 9th
Meeting
Meeting came to order at 6:35 pm on
Tuesday, October 09, 2007. In
attendance were Donna
Pagnozzi, Ms. Caporelli,
Rene Biello, Claudia Harvey, Kristen Stallings, Sue Murphy, Doreen Corvese, Christine Diggle, Gina Ginolfi, Cara Fitzgerald, Denise Williams, Sharon Marcello
and Ms. Storti.
Business
discussed was the following:

Entertainment book fundraiser is still being collected and an
update on the success of the fundraiser will come when all the
information is back to Donna.
·
Box Tops- the deadline to mail in the box tops is October 31st.
$200.00 worth has been collected to date. The next date to mail in the box tops
will be in April so we can begin to collect again. Also Rene asked to have
parents etc register George J. Peters school for extra points on the Box Tops
website www.boxtops4education.com
·
Halloween Dance which will be held on Friday October 26th
- we need donations for the raffle baskets.
·
Holiday Bazaar which will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007
– an announcement will be in the
·
Committees - still need more parents
to volunteer!
·
Open House October 18,2007- need items
for the bake sale and also volunteers. Bring the baked goods to the office the
morning or during the day on the 18th. Open House begins at 7:00pm.
·
Reading Series- Ms. Caporelli will have
an introduction at the open house and another meeting will be planned to go
over this series in further details. We may have a presentation at the November
PTO meeting on November 13, 2007.
·
November 14 & 15, 2007 will be the first after school activity
with a fall themed item.
·
Ms. Storti’s Field Day will take
place in the 1st week of June.
