POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 

ALTERNATE EDUCATON INSTRUCTORS: Secondary English-  9 am-1 pm, Secondary Math -9 am-12 noon, Social Studies-9 am-12 noon, Science - 9 am-12 noon. Appropriate Education / Certification Required. Further information may be obtained by calling the Alternate Education Office at 401-270-8166. Cranston Public Schools is seeking Highly Qualified applicants for these positions.  Applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the positions are filled.

DIRECTOR OF PLANT OPERATIONS-Develop and implement facilities operation services including preventative maintenance and general upkeep for all buildings, equipment and grounds to ensure full education use; on time and on budget project management for all facility construction and renovation; organize, provide and manage custodial services to ensure that all facilities are maintained for learning, teaching and the well-being, health, safety, sanitation and security of students, staff and community, support energy efficient systems that support the district's energy conservation program and preserve resources for learning and teaching. The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the position is filled.

Vacancies: 2014-2015- Nurse/teacher-1.0 FTE, Elementary Art Teacher -.3 FTE, CRANSTON EAST-Special Ed Teacher -.6 FTE. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the above positions.  Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the positions are filled.

Cranston West: English teacher .6 FTE, Technology teacher 1.0 FTE, Chemistry teacher .6 FTE,  Chemistry/Biology teacher 1.0 FTE, NEL/CPS Charter: Special Education teacher 1.0 FTE, BAIN MIDDLE SCHOOL: Reading teacher .5 FTE, Western Hills Middle School: Math teacher .4 FTE, Reading teacher .5 FTE (Privale & Parochial Schools. BUS DRIVER Cranston Public Schools are now hiring licensed school bus drivers. Must have School Bus Certificate. Hourly rate is $14.31.  You will receive health care benefits, holidays, life insurance and pension. Completed applications and Letters of Intent must be received in the Human Resources office.

SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS:  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/ $8.55 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

BUS MONITORS: $9.55/ HOUR. The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS: Hourly rate $10.50. Will train. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED:  Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $8.55 per hour. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED:  Middle/Secondary Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Must have proper RI  Teacher Certification. Applications will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.
