POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 

SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER 1.0 FTE: Cranston East- Cranston Public Schools is seeking Highly Qualified applicants for this position.  Must have a current Rhode Island Department of Education certification. Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the position is filled.

GED MATH INSTRUCTOR: (5 HOURS PER WEEK / EVENINGS)-Appropriate Education / Certification required.  Further information may be obtained by calling (401) 270-8176.  Seeking highly qualified applicants for this position.  Applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the position is filled.

HEAD COACH: INDOOR TRACK-CRANSTON EAST, ASSISTANT COACH: INDOOR TRACK-CRANSTON WEST- Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions.  Must have First Aid, CPR, AED, and Rhode Island Department of Education Coaching Certification.  Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the positions are filled.

BUS DRIVER Cranston Public Schools are now hiring licensed school bus drivers. Must have School Bus Certificate. Hourly rate is $14.31.  You will receive health care benefits, holidays, life insurance and pension. Completed applications and Letters of Intent must be received in the Human Resources office.

SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS:  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/ $9.00 5 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

BUS MONITORS: $9.55/ HOUR. The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS: Hourly rate $10.50. Will train. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED:  Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $10.00 per hour -Teacher Assistant, $9.00 per hour-Secretary. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED:  Middle/Secondary Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Must have proper RI  Teacher Certification. Applications will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.
