POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

BUS MECHANIC:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the posted position.  Requirements:  Must have a minimum of five (5) yers experience in automotive and/or truck repair.  Preference given to those with truck repairs.  Must possess their own tools.  Specific experience with repairing heating and cooling systems, brake and drive train components.  Indoor and outdoor work environment.  Full Time position with Benefit Package.  Completed applications and letter of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the position is filled.

HEAD COACH-BOYS' BASKETBALL/EAST:  Cranston Public School is seeking qualified applicants for the posted position.  Must have Rhode Island First Aid, CPR, AED, and Coaching Certification.  Completed Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring up to and including Thursday, June 9, 2016.

ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL/BARROWS-RE-POST:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the posted position.  The successful candidate will have a record of exemplary teaching, school leadership and administrative experience, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse constituencies to nurture a supportive and challenging school culture.  Master's Degree in School Administration or a related academic discipline preferred.  Current Rhode Island Certification as a School Principal or PK-12 Building Level Administrator is needed.  Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until position is filled.

HEAD COACH: BOYS' CROSS COUNTRY/WEST:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the posted position.  Must have Rhode Island First Aid, CPR,  AED, AND RI Coaching Certification.  Completed Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring until Monday, June 6, 2016.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE PERSON:  Cranston Publc Schools is seeking qualified applicants as a Building Maintenance Person. Knowledge of standard practices, process, and materials of the building trade, tools used and, operation of power equipment. A minimum of 5 years experience preferred. General carpentry work, repair, maintenance of buildings. Applicant must be able to life 75 pounds, work with and assist other trades people.  Must be able to be licensed to work with asbestos containing material.  Complete job description is available on School Spring.  Complete Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring up to and including Wednesday, June 1, 2016.

HIGH SCHOOL COACHES- EAST/HEAD GIRLS' FIELD HOCKEY COACH, ASSISTANT GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL COACH - WEST/ASSISTANT BOYS' SOCCER COACH:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking Highly Qualified applicants for the high school coaches listed.  Must have First Aid, CPR, AED, and RI Coaching Certification.  Need to successfully complete the Fundamentals of Coaching & Concussion training through the RI Interscholastic League. Completed Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring until Monday, May 30, 2016.

MIDDLE SCHOOL COACHES-HOPE HIGHLANDS MIDDLE SCHOOL(3):  Head Boys' Soccer Coach, Head Girls' Soccer Coach, Head Co-Ed Cross Country Coach.  EQUIPMENT MANAGER/HOPE HIGHLANDS:   Cranston Public Schools is seeking Highly Qualified applicants for the middle school coaches and equipment manager listed.  Must have First Aid, CPR, AED, and RI Coaching Certification.  Need to successfully complete the Fundamentals of Coaching & Concussion training through the RI Interscholastic League.  Completed Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring until Monday, May 30, 2016.

SPECIAL EDUCATION ADMINISTRATOR:  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking Highly Qualified applicants for the posted posiiton.  Must have a Master's Degree in Special Education.  Eligible for RI Certification as a Special Education Administrator and/or PK-12 Building Administrator.  Experience in a variety of educational fields, including a minimum of three years in the education of students with disabilities.  The Administrator is responsible for the administration of all federal, state, and local laws, policies and procedures, as they apply to identified special education students and programs.  Must attend a teacher evaluation program and undergo a successful assessment to earn certification to evaluate educators (teachers) and pass a recalibration yearly.  Job specifications available on School Spring.  Completed applications and Letters of Intent will be required on School Spring until filled.

BUS DRIVER:  Cranston Public Schools are now hiring licensed school bus drivers. Must have School Bus Certificate. Hourly rate is $14.31.  You will receive health care benefits, holidays, life insurance and pension. Completed applications will be received in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS:  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/ $9.60 5 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

BUS MONITORS: $9.74/ HOUR. The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions.  Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring or the Human Resources Office, 845 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS: Hourly rate is $10.50. We provide paid CDL training, which will allow you to take the CDL test and Bus Certificate Test. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED:  Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $10.00 per hour -Teacher Assistant, $9.60 per hour-Secretary. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.
