ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL: Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. The successful candidate will have a record of exemplary teaching, school leadership and administrative experience as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse constituencies to nurture a supportive and challenging school culture. Masters degree in School Administration or a related academic discipline preferred. Current Rhode Island certification as a School Principal or PK-12 Building Level Administrator is needed. Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the position is filled.
SAFETY COORDINATOR: Assists the district administrators in communicating Cranston Public Schools' safety plan for each school. MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Proof of at least 10 years of law enforcement and/or school safety experience and commensurate education in related field(s). 2. Proof of current training in national, state and local regulations, protocols and best practices. 3. A list of references related to comparable programs.4. Proof of the resources and ability to complete reports in a timely fashion that can be easily comprehended by school district staff. BUS DRIVER Cranston Public Schools are now hiring licensed school bus drivers. Must have School Bus Certificate. Hourly rate is $14.31. You will receive health care benefits, holidays, life insurance and pension. Completed applications and Letters of Intent must be received in the Human Resources office.
SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/ $8.55 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS): The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED: Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $8.55 per hour. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED: Middle/Secondary Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Must have proper RI Teacher Certification. Applications will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.
