POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

GIRLS' ASSISTANT FIELD HOCKEY COACH- EAST:  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for a Girls' Assistant Field Hockey Coach, East.  Must have First Aid, CPR, AED, and RI Coaching Certification.  Need to complete the Fundamentals of Coaching & Concussion training through the RI Interscholastic League.  Completed Application and Letter of Intent will be accepted on School Spring until Friday, July 3, 2015.

BUILDING/LUNCH AIDES-PART-TIME(3 HOURS), (2 POSITIONS): The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for a Building/ Lunch Aides (2 positions). The positions will be located at Waterman Elementary and Hope Highlands Elementary.  To assist the principal/teacher wit recess and lunch rom supervision and provide break coverage for teacers as assigned.  Please note there may be an opportunity to add an additional one hour per week to assist with covering team.  Must have taken the Teacher Assistant  Training Course. TEACHER ASSISTANT-SPECIAL EDUCATION (2 POSITIONS)-1 FT, 1 PT (3 HOURS/DAY):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for two (2) teacher assistant positions.  The full time position is at Orchard Farms Elementary and the part-time is at Early Childhood Center.  To assist teachers with instructional duties and to help in providing a safe learning environment for all students.  Classroom will include children with Developmental Delay, Autsm or Multipe Disabilities.  Must have taken a Teacher Assistant Training Course and have passed the Praxis test or have an Associate's Degree.  Job Description is available in Human Resources.  Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring up to and including  July 3, 2015.

MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETIC COORDINATOR (Equipment Manager):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the above position.  Must have First Aid, CPR, AED, and RI Coaching Certification.  Successfully completed the Fundamentals of Coaching & Concussion through the RI Interscholastic League.  Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring by Thursday, July 3, 2015.

PROGRAM MANAGER - SKILLS USA:  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for a Program Manager for our SkillsUSA Program.  Reports to the Executive Director.  The Program Manager is responsible for the programming success of SkillsUSA Rhode Island ensuring membership development, team management, program delivery, quality control and evaluation.  Assisting the Director in the development  and delivery of membership strategies, programs and activities for our members.  Bachelors' Degree preferred.  Must have 3-5 years experience with membership and program development and /or non-profit management.  Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring until July 17, 2015.

GIRLS' CROSS COUNTRY COACH - WEST

BUS DRIVER:  Cranston Public Schools are now hiring licensed school bus drivers. Must have School Bus Certificate. Hourly rate is $14.31.  You will receive health care benefits, holidays, life insurance and pension. Completed applications and Letters of Intent must be received in the Human Resources office.

SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS:  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/ $9.00 5 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

BUS MONITORS: $9.55/ HOUR. The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS: Hourly rate $10.50. Will train. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED:  Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $10.00 per hour -Teacher Assistant, $9.00 per hour-Secretary. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED:  Middle/Secondary Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Must have proper RI  Teacher Certification. Applications will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.
