SCIENCE TEACHER, SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER/PARK VIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL-.6 FTE(2):  Cranston Public Schools is seeking  Highly Qualified applicants for a .6 FTE middle school Science teacher and a .6FTE Social Studies teacher.  Must have a current RI Department of Education Certification in Middle School Science and Middle School Social Studies.  Completed Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on School Spring up to and including Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

SCIENCE TEACHER-FULL TIME (2), WORLD LANGUAGE TEACHER/SPANISH-PART TIME (.4 FTE) - CHARTER SCHOOL:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking Highly Qualified applicants for Science Teachers (must have a current RI Department of Education Certification in Biology, General Science). ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL/BARROWS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the posted position.  The successful candidate will have a record of exemplary teaching, school leadership and administrative experience, as well as the ability to work colaboratively with diverse constituencies to nurture a supportive and challenging school culture.  Master's Degree in School Administration or a related academic discipline preferred.  Current Rhode Island Certification as a School Principal or PK-12 Building Level Administrator is needed.  Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring until the position is filled.

SPECIAL EDUCATION ADMINISTRATOR:  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking Highly Qualified applicants for the posted posiiton.  Must have a Master's Degree in Special Education.  Eligible for RI Certification as a Special Education Administrator and/or PK-12 Building Administrator.  Experience in a variety of educational fields, including a minimum of three years in the education of students with disabilities.  The Administrator is responsible for the administration of all federal, state, and local laws, policies and procedures, as they apply to identified special education students and programs.  Must attend a teacher evaluation program and undergo a successful assessment to earn certification to evaluate educators (teachers) and pass a recalibration yearly.  Job specifications available on School Spring.  Completed applications and Letters of Intent will be required on School Spring until filled.

DIRECTOR OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS & SERVICES:  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking Highly Qualified applicants for the posted position.  The Director assists in overseeing instruction in (PK-12) with a specific focus on literacy and numeracy.  Assists in the supervision of administrators, program supervisors, and support staff.  Complete Job Description is available on School Spring.  Must hold a RIDE Special Education Administrator (PK-12) certificate, or be eligible for this certificate.  Must have (5) years successful teaching and (5) years adminiistrative experience is preferred.  A Master's Degree in Administration is preferred.  Complete the application process on School Spring.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

ELL/SOCIAL STUDIES - BAIN MIDDLE SCHOOL-GRADE 7/8 SPLIT-1.O FTE:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for an ELL/Social Studies-Grade 7/8 Split 1.0 FTE for the 2016-2017 school year.  Must have a current RI Department of Education Middle School ELL/Social Studies Certification.  Complete applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted on SchoolSpring up to and including Friday, May 6, 2016.

BUS DRIVER:  Cranston Public Schools are now hiring licensed school bus drivers. Must have School Bus Certificate. Hourly rate is $14.31.  You will receive health care benefits, holidays, life insurance and pension. Completed applications will be received in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS:  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/ $9.60 5 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

BUS MONITORS: $9.74/ HOUR. The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions.  Completed applications and letters of intent will be accepted on School Spring or the Human Resources Office, 845 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS: Hourly rate is $10.50. We provide paid CDL training, which will allow you to take the CDL test and Bus Certificate Test. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED:  Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $10.00 per hour -Teacher Assistant, $9.60 per hour-Secretary. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.
