POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for a High School Assistant Principal with at least five (5) years of successfu teaching in public schools and a record of exemplary teaching, school leadership and administrative experience.  RI certification as a School Principal or PK-12 Building Level Administrator. Understanding/experience and knowledge of the New England Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accrediation process, knowledge of the RI Graduation Diploma System, knowledge of the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium-Standards for School Leaders. Complete job description is available in Human Resources.  Position wil start July 1, 2015.  Completed application and Letter of Intent will be accepted on School Spring until the position is filled.

MIDDLE SCHOOL HEAD COACHES (9):  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for (3) Girls' Soccer Coaches, (3) Boys' Soccer Coaches, (3) Co-ed Cross Country Coaches.  Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience. Starting up soccer and co-ed cross country program at  each of our middle schools.  Must possess a Rhode Island Department of Education coaching certificate as well as being certified in CPR/First Aid/AED.  Need to successfully complete the Fundamentals of Coaching & Concussion training through the RI Interscholastic League.  Completed application and Letter of Intent must be received on School Spring up to and including Wednesday, June 10, 2015.

HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN FOOTBALL COACHES (2)-NEW:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for (2) freshman football coaches. Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience.  Must possess a Rhode Island Department of Education coaching certificate as well as being certified in CPR/First Aid/AED.  Need to successfully complete the Fundamentals of Coaching & Concussion training through the RI Interscholastic League. Completed application  and Letter of Intent must be received on School Spring up to and including Wednesday, June 10, 2015.

BUS MECHANIC:  Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for a Bus Mechanic. Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in automotive and/or truck repair.  Preference given to those with truck repairs.  Must possess their own tools.  Specific experience with repairing heating and cooling systems, brake and drive train components.  Indoor and outdoor work environment.  Full Time position with benefit package.Application and Letter Intent must be received in the Human Resources Office up to and including Thursday, June 11, 2015.

BUS DRIVER:  Cranston Public Schools are now hiring licensed school bus drivers. Must have School Bus Certificate. Hourly rate is $14.31.  You will receive health care benefits, holidays, life insurance and pension. Completed applications and Letters of Intent must be received in the Human Resources office.

SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS:  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/ $9.00 5 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

BUS MONITORS: $9.55/ HOUR. The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS: Hourly rate $10.50. Will train. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED:  Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $10.00 per hour -Teacher Assistant, $9.00 per hour-Secretary. Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for these positions. Applications and letters of intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED:  Middle/Secondary Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Must have proper RI  Teacher Certification. Applications will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.
