Fourth Grade Website

Our fourth graders are getting ready for an exciting and active year here at Hope Highlands. During the first quarter our students will be learning about the Northeast Region of the USA in Social Studies. We will be going to Slater Mill on our field trip to learn more about the Industrial Revolution in the Northeast. In Science they are learning about the Properties of Matter and doing hands-on activities that will help reinforce their understanding of the concepts. During these activities the students will participate in small groups or with partners and sometimes on their own. Students are learning their multiplication facts in Mathematics. Vocabulary and math facts should be reviewed nightly to ensure proficiency. Encourage students to read daily. We hope to make this year an enjoyable and productive learning experience for your children.
