Fifth Annual Cookout

I hope you can all make it to our Fifth Annual Cookout on August 29, 2008 at Edgewood Highland from 5:00PM-6:30 PM.  It has been a great success the past four years! It's a true inspiration to see all the parents and students enjoying the beginning of the year in such a nice, relaxing way.

Note to Parents:

All of your children are wonderful and try their best all day long.  I appreciate any help you can give them at home, such as helping them practice their spelling words, with math, or just listening to them read.  Providing them with daily snacks, a good night’s sleep, and seeing that they get to school on time is also another way you can assist us in helping your child have a wonderful learning experience. Students may not have written homework every night, but they need to read on the nights they do not have written assignments. They can read silently or to a family member.
